Lafayette Police Foundation

The Lafayette Police Foundation was formed in early 2016 in order to support, advance and promote public safety through education, service and development of good citizens and future leaders in the field of law enforcement. Every dime you donate helps our heroic men and women in blue get the equipment, training and outreach programs they need to fight crime.

Retirement & Recognition Ceremony

Join us Friday, May 17th, 2019, to celebrate and publicly recognizing the amazing sacrifice, accomplishments and lives of service of our retiring officers. It’s also the time when we’ll name the Officer of the Year, the Civilian Employee of the Year and present multiple Life Saving Awards. Donations to defray the costs of the banquet and support other foundation priorities can be designated to our General Fund.

D.A.R.E. Program

D.A.R.E. envisions a world in which students everywhere are empowered to respect others and choose to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors. D.A.R.E. is a comprehensive K-12 education program that address drugs, violence, bullying, internet safety, and other high risk circumstances that today are too often a part of students’ lives.
